CREEPLE PEEPLE were lovable little fellows that you made from goop and attached onto pencils which served as their bodies. They had heads, arms and feet and evidently some had either cloth or paper clothing to wear. Brightly colored fake fur served to fit through the top of the head and acted as hair. It sort of gave them the look of a troll doll. One of the figures had "I Love You" stamped into the back of his head, another had a sewn on patch on the back of the head. This was all in all a very unusual set. The colors on the box were incredibly vivid and the picture does not do the set justice. This set was available with a normal box or a special 'foil' box. The picture above was from a foil box (as well as the side of the box on the Main Thingmaker page) which have kept their colors much better than the plain paper boxes. The head molds required special insets to hollow out the heads so that they would fit on the pencils. They look vaguely like a pair of round glasses made out of solid metal. The large heads will not cook properly without these insets as the face will burn before the back is cooked solid!
